Primary care services provide the first point of contact in the healthcare system, acting as the 'front door' of the NHS. The services involved in this local review are:
- Out of Hours GP
- Walk in Centre
- Extended Hours GP
- GP Streaming
This group is now meeting on a regular basis. If you are interested in this work please contact us.
Bolton, Salford and Wigan Partnership - Transforming Hospital Services
The Bolton, Salford and Wigan Partnership (BSWP) are working with local Healthwatch organisations to make sure that their transformation work is shaped and delivered with the patient voice at the very centre.
The Equalities and Experience Reference Group (EERG) is a group of patients, service users and public representatives and has been established to help the Partnership improve patient experience and make sure that services are high quality, safe and accessible, wherever you happen to live. The EERG meets every two months, with each meeting focusing on a subject linked to equalities and experience, with the most recent looking in depth at communications and transport.
If you are interested in attending one of the future meetings and adding your voice to health service transformation, please contact the Healthwatch in your area or the Partnership office on 01204 390 473 or email NWSP@boltonft.nhs.uk
