  • Thursday 18th July 2019, 1pm - 4.30pm, Friends Meeting House, 50 Silverwell Street, Bolton, BL1 1PP

The Equalities & Experience Reference Group (EERG) has been established to support the work of the Bolton, Salford and Wigan Partnership and to make sure the patient voice is included is at the centre of transformation work taking place in Bolton Salford and Wigan.

The Bolton, Salford and Wigan Partnership (BSWP) is all about NHS organisation in the north-west sector of Greater Manchester working together to make sure that specific areas of hospital care are the best they can be. Nationally, there is a shortage of staff, limited money to provide services and increasing pressures on the healthcare system. The Partnership is needs to make changes to the way services are currently provided to make sure that NHS services in the sector are equitable, safe and sustainable for future generations.

The Equalities and Experience Reference Group (EERG) will support the Partnership to make sure that the people of Bolton, Salford and Wigan are able to contribute their experiences and have their say on transformation proposals, particularly in relation to access and equality.

The group will meet at regular intervals at accessible venues for the people of Bolton, Salford and Wigan.

By joining EERG and sharing your thoughts on proposals, you will be helping to improve health services for the future.
